How to measure

  • Around chest — measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, keeping the tape level.
  • Around waist — measure around the natural waist, just above the hip bone.
  • From shoulder to waist — measure from the top of the shoulder straight down to the natural waist.
  • From shoulder to knee — for knee-length dresses.
  • From shoulder to feet — for full-length gowns and dresses with a train.
